Description
Milzeoch Wood is a commercial woodland with a mix of conifer and native broadleaf species. Planted in 2021/22 under a Woodland Grant Scheme, the site comprises approximately 30.02 hectares of established spruce. There are also 2.50 hectares of native broadleaves. The inclusion of native broadleaves enhances the biodiversity of the woodland, complementing the commercial element of the crop.
The property lies between 217m and 270m above sea level, with a small burn bordering the west edge of the site.
